Pagosa Springs Music Boosters Back

Bio- Sue Diffee

Occupation: I am retired and loving it! I never had a "real" job. I was a stay-at-home mom. I volunteered a lot for the kids' school and did short stints working as a teacher's aide and a library aide (which I loved).

Born in: I was born in Plainview, Texas a really long time ago. We moved to Lubbock, TX when I was 9 and I lived there until I married Ray Diffee and we moved to Phoenix, AZ, where we lived for 43 years.

Years in Pagosa: We moved to Pagosa 4 years ago and are in God's country and are exactly where we want to be! I thank the Lord every day for this blessing! We are thrilled to have our daughter (D'Ann) and her precious family ( husband Rick and daughters Alex and Chyenne) living here also. We are truly blessed!

Other Interests: I am an avid counted cross stitcher and I love to do stained glass, but have not had much time for either lately. I also love to read, work crossword and jigsaw puzzles, do crafts of almost every type especially anything having to do with beads. Singing is my most favorite thing to do! I do several solos a year at my church (United Methodist) and I sing in the Community Choir and am a past president of the Pagosa Springs Choral Society.

This is my second Music Boosters production and I am loving it!! I have participated in may choral groups, but the best one so far it the Pagosa Springs Community Choir of which I have been a member since we moved here. I really enjoy being on the stage, but I also love painting sets and even sewing backdrops, but especially getting to know more of my fellow Pagosans.

Something Interesting: My Sister and I dressed as Nuns and met our little Sister at the Air Port in Lubbock, Texas. Boy, was she surprised!
